Chinese men caught growing organic marijuana in Bangkok

Bangkok Metropolitan police this morning (June 2, 2020) arrested two Hong Kong Chinese men and seized 1,000 marijuana plants in a go-down in the Onnut area of Bangkok, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.

One of the men has a student visa card. The two delivered dried organic marijuana to their clients for the price of 250,000 baht per kilogram.

The Thai man who rented the go-down to the Hong Kong Chinese became suspicious because the Chinese men paid about 100,000 baht per month for the electricity, with a monthly rent of the go-down for 40,000 baht.
