Concern for children taken away from school by mom

POLICE in the tourist city of Phuket have been asked to look for two children taken away from a school in the southern province of Yala by their mother who may force them to sell goods on the streets, Sanook.com reported today (May 18).

The boys, aged 3 and 7, had been put under the care of the government welfare home in Yala after neighbors informed the police that they had been abused by their mother, who forced them to sell souvenirs in Phuket .

Police are checking closed-circuit TVs in Yala to find out where the mother had taken their sons.
