E-cigarettes worth 200,000 baht seized

Bangkok Metropolitan police and consumer protection officials early this morning (Sept 26, 2019) raided four shops in Bang Khen District of Bangkok and seized 88 electric cigarette equipments and 121 other items worth more than 200,000 baht, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.

The raid followed a tip-off by plainclothes detectives who had inspected the shops and talked to their owners.

The shop owners were charged with violating Order No.9/2558 issued by the Consumer Protection Committee.
