Hot weather causes phone to blow up in a car.
This incident is a great story to help warn netizens of one of the dangers that come with the current burning weather of Thailand. Not only do we have to find methods in helping us cool down and survive the hot weather, but we must also care for our pets that risk heat strokes and out belongings with batteries that can blow up at any time when left on a hot surface or in the direct sunlight.
A Facebook user named Ying Yupa Anan posted on the 20th of this month a few pictures of her car after her phone blew up, along with the caption “the punishment of being a forgetful person”. It is normal for car users to place their phone on the car console. Thailand’s weather is currently extremely hot, our normal everyday actions need to change accordingly to avoid risking dangerous situations such as this.
Ying accidentally forgot her phone that was placed on the center console of the car, when she returned Ying was shocked as her car had a broken window above where the phone was left. It was during daytime when the sun was shining bright above when Ying forgot her phone and left the car. Hopefully, this is an important lesson for Ying to never leave electrical appliances in hot conditions, especially in the direct sunlight shining through a car window.
Thinking of the possibilities, it might’ve been a good thing that Ying was not in her Black truck when her phone decided to blow up, judging from the size of the hole in her window, it was definitely a big blow that would harm anyone nearby.
Netizens commented in Ying’s post that they have never thought the Thai heat could be so dangerous and that Ying’s story has made them realize that they have to be careful during this time of the year. A good tip would be to install protective UV film on your car windows to protect you from the UV rays, the main causes of skin cancer.
