Iranian attacked on Pattaya’s Walking Street – ThaiResidents.com

AN Iranian burger shop worker was attacked by 3 men who bashed him up in front of a throng of tourists at Pattaya’s Walking Street this morning, INN News reported.

When police quickly arrived, Mr Mehdi Nobakht, 31, pointed to the spot in front of the burger shop where the 3 men, 1 foreigner and 2 Thais, surrounded and assaulted him as the tourist looked on, and then quickly ran away.

Iranian bashed up

Mr Phanuphan Phanwasana, 28, who saw the incident, told police that the injured Iranian man was standing outside the burger joint calling tourists to go into the restaurant, then suddenly  a foreign man walked towards him and pointed to him, and 2 Thais quickly followed.

They punched him up and then quickly separated and ran into the crowds of tourist.

The eyewitness said he does not know what conflict there was between the 2 men, while police are now going through CCTV footage to identify the attackers.
