‘Miracle ice-cream’ maker closes shop

THE Chiang Mai resident who claims to have created an ice-cream that cures all ills is apparently on the run after news of his product made big headlines in local newspapers, Sanook.com reported today (Jan. 6, 2018).

Chiang Mai health officer Naruemol Kanteekoon went to Mr Tanatouch Torboonsittikorn’s home this morning, but its gate was locked. A car was parked inside.

Mr Tanatouch posted text and photos on his Facebook page yesterday (Jan. 5) encouraging people to buy his ice-cream that he claimed could replace dead cells in a human body.

He faces a maximum fine of 30,000 baht for violating the Food and Drug Law.
