Old woman dies before facelift surgery
A 72-year-old woman died last night at a facelift surgery clinic in Wangthonglang District of Bangkok, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported today (Oct 12, 2018).
Police officers received a call from the clinic surgeon around 9 p.m. that one of his clients had died before he performed surgery. Her body was later sent to the Police Hospital for an autopsy.
According to the surgeon, the elderly woman might have been allergic to an anesthetic injection. “I tried to revive her but she did not respond,” he said. “I was shocked and saddened by what happened.”
