Sour milk at 12 schools in Bangkok

THAIMILK Dairy Cooperative Ltd (TDCL) this morning (June 11, 2018) issued public apologies to parents and teachers for the recent discovery of sour milk it delivered to 12 public schools in Bangkok, Sanook.com reported.

TDCL President Chawengsak Sa-nguanwongwijit also thanked four teachers at Pathai-udomsuksa School who random-checked the milk before giving it to their students.

According to Mr Chawengsak, one of the milk box sealing machines did not function properly. “The sealing might have been torn during delivery, allowing bacteria to form inside the box,” he said.

Altogether 110,539 milk boxes were recalled.
