Thailand Online Mega Sale gets underway
SHOPPERS looking for discounts and interesting deals will be happy to hear that the Thailand Online Mega Sale 2017 just got underway today (August 1) and will last till August 8, Thai News Agency said.
Ms Lalita Chiwananprawat, deputy director of Commerce Ministry’s Business Development Department, said her agency linked up with Digital Economy and Society Ministry’s Electronic Transactions Development Agency and Thai E-commerce Association in arranging this fair running all 24 hours at www.thailandmegasale.com.
There are products from 300 online shops available at up to 80% discount with special items being sold at promotional prices only at this fair including GoPro Hero 5 Session cameras, Marshall speakers, Samsung Galaxy A Series 2017 smartphones, Sennheiserhd 471g headsets, BABY- G black wristwatches, Samsung Gear VR with controller headsets, Roomba® 776p robot vacuum cleaners and Apple watches.
Ms Lalita said this is the fifth year this fair is being held with this year’s concept being “Nonstop Shop Online” and it is hoped that sales will soar above 300 million baht.
This annual fair is arranged to boost the government’s digital economy and Thailand 4.0 policies while also helping online business operators expand nationally, within Asean and globally.
