25 hurt in hospital explosion

AUTHORITIES have found traces of dynamite and fragments of a PVC pipe in which it was placed at the site of the explosion within Phramongkutklao Hospital with this late morning (May 22) blast injuring to 25 people, Matichon newspaper said.

The pipe bomb is believed to have been put in a not very large vase because fragments of the vase were also found in the area which is a VIP zone with lots of cameras around.

Matichon added that initial investigation indicates this blast is similar to the one in front of the National Theater last week.
