4 badly hurt as speed boats catch fire at Phang Nga pier

TWO tourist speed boats caught fire at a southern coastal Phang Nga province pier today (April 11) and 4 persons have been badly injured, INN News reported.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation office at Lam Kaen subdistrict, Thai Mueang district, quickly sent fire engines to Thap Lamu pier where the boats were ablaze, but the fire was so large that more fire engines were requested from Khuk Khak municipality to help out.

Khao Lak Emergency Medical Center has sent one of the badly 4 badly injured victims to Thai Mueang Chai Pattana Hospital with the other 3 victims still being helped.
