66-year-old pedophile arrested in Chiang Mai
A 66-year-old music teacher was arrested today (August 21) in the northern province of Chiang Mai and charged with raping girls under the age of 15, Sanook.com reported.
Police detectives described the suspect as a serial rapist who preyed on under-age girls. He was first arrested on the same offence in 2002, while teaching at a school in Lumphun province, adjoining Chiang Mai. He served five years in jail and was released in 2014.
The suspect confessed he was a pedophile. He apologized to the parents of his victims during a press conference.
