SHOPPERS and small traders packed Bo Bae market from very early yesterday morning till late last night as they hunted for ready-made black garments to both resell and themselves wear during the mourning for late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thai News Agency said.
Most of the small traders bought garments by the dozen and Bo Bae market merchants said the area was bustling with these smaller traders from 2 a.m. onwards but later in the day the general public showed up to buy black garments to wear themselves.
Many customers in the provinces also called and ordered a lot of black garments and these merchants had to quickly pack and deliver the goods to them.
As their stocks are depleting quickly, Bo Bae merchants have placed a lot of orders with garment factories to meet buyers’ requirements.
