A MEDICAL doctor failed to show up for interrogation at Soong-nern District Police Station in Nakhon Ratchasima Province this afternoon (Nov. 26) to face charges of molesting 11 female factory workers, the Thai-language Matichon newspaper reported.
The workers said the doctor touched their breasts during a medical check-up even though breast-cancer examination was not on the check-up list. The doctor later told the factory owner that the workers lied to him about his alleged misconduct.
Soong-nern police made an appointment with the doctor at 2 pm today, but he did not show up. A summons will be issued, and the doctor will face serious charges if he ignored it.
