Chinese tourist found dead at resort
A 32-year-old Chinese tourist was found dead in her room at a resort in Mae Rim district of the northern Thai province of Chiang Mai yesterday (Jan 29, 2020), the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
Doctors found no traces of violence on her body. The woman came to Mae Rim with four Chinese friends on Jan 28. Her friends said she was physically healthy.
Thai doctors will perform an autopsy at Nakhon Ping Chiang Mai Hospital yesterday. The Chinese consul in Chiang Mai has been notified.
