Ex-boyfriend confesses to dismembering woman

THE former boyfriend of a young woman whose dismembered body was found in a backpack and fertilizer bags at a Minburi district scrub-land has confessed that he killed her, INN News reported this morning (June 24, 2018).

Mr Thonkrit or Wut was arrested after police identified the dead woman as Ms Lukhana Khamlangkaeng or May from northeastern Roi-et province.

Both worked for the same company that produces advertising stickers with the victim being an accountant there, while the suspect a sticker cutter and messenger.

Police were able to track down and arrest Thongkrit at Bang Chan subdistrict of Klong Sam Wa district at around 8.30 p.m. last night.

Pol. Lt. .Gen. Charnthep Saesavej, head of Metropolitan Police, and his deputy Pol Maj Gen Sompong Chingduang joined local police investigators in questioning him for an hour. They also questioned 7 other people.

After that police sent Thongkrit’s black motorcycle to the Forensics Department to collect evidence and also took the suspect to his 3rd floor flat in Minburi area, where the killing was suspected to have occurred.

Thongkrit later confessed that he killed his ex-girlfriend 4 to 5 days ago after she came to his flat to collect her belongings.

They had quarreled and he then covered her head with a cloth and bashed her till she died, police said.
