A BIG fat shop-lifter was outrun by two good Samaritans while trying to flee a shopping center in the coastal town of Si Racha this morning (Feb. 3), the Thai-language Daily News reported.
The 34-year-old thief had earlier stolen a wireless telephone from the same IT store. “I recognized him and yelled for help after he put something into his trouser pocket,” the store assistant told police.
The thief ran out of steam after running down from the 4th floor to the ground floor. Four male shoppers restrained him, and police later came to pick him up.
