Fire guts beautiful temple building

ALL residents of Nong Taprom Village in the northeastern Thai province of Si Sa Ket broke down in tears early this morning (Sept 2, 2018) after they failed to put out a huge fire that destroyed a beautiful temple building made of rare wood, Sanook.com reported.

The fire broke out around midnight, and the building and all its 64 huge wooden pillars were destroyed in one hour.

“We all helped build this beautiful structure and it broke our hearts,” a villager said. “I felt like losing my own child.”

Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
