Flood shuts down Nakhon Si Thammarat airport

THE Airport Authority of Thailand (AAT) early this morning (Dec 7) shut down the airport in the southern Thai province of Nakhon Si Thammarat, which is now submerged after a night-long heavy rain, the Thai-language daily Khao Sd reported.

The AAT will monitor the situation on a daily basis. Stranded passengers may call three local airlines on the following phone numbers:

 

  • Nok Air –  083-5408538-9

 

  • Air Asia –   075-450505

 

  • Thai Lion Air –  02-529-9999

Passengers may return their air tickets or change flights by calling the airlines on these numbers.
