Good Citizen helps mother give birth by the road.
The good citizen posted her experience on Facebook, she also attached a video of the incident to show the excitement of a newborn baby on 20 December 2019. Namfon Sudthawin ran in to help a woman who was giving birth by the road. She captioned the post “I’m proud to help the little one into this world, the baby is strong and healthy #I’m still shaking.”.
The video shows a woman ready to give birth as she waits for the ambulance by the road. It seems like the baby is ready to enter the world and the ambulance won’t make it in time. This is when Namfon walked by and realized that she needed to help deliver the baby. The baby had already come out and was trapped inside the mother’s pants, Namfon helped both the mother and the child as other citizens started to form a crowd around the 3 of them. All were relieved when they saw that both the newborn and the mother is safe.
The incident took place on 18 December 2019 at the Muang Thong Thani Condo, Nonthaburi Province. When Namfon walked by the mother was screaming in pain as the baby’s head started to come out. The ambulance was on its way but the baby wanted to come out now. The good citizen pulled out the baby as others cheered for them while the baby started crying. The rescue team arrived soon after to deliver the mother and her baby to the hospital.
Namfon revealed that this is her first time helping a mother give birth, she had no clue what to do but knew that the mother needed help. She is still confused about how the situation took place.
