Groom-to-be flees the scene
IT was a beautiful Thursday, and Miss Bee (not her real name) was looking forward to a grand wedding dinner in Uthai Thani Province. The groom-to-be was brimming with joy as he asked for her car’s key.
“I want to re-check the guest list and make sure that everything is in order,” he said. That was the last time she saw him.
As it turned out, the groom-to-be was a conman. He had cheated a number of women and fled with their money, Sanook.com reported today (August 4).
The family later went to the local police station to file a complaint. Actually, some people in Uthai Thani had heard about his reputation as a conman, but they did not know how to tell the woman.
