HM the late King’s birthday to be observed every year

THE Cabinet today declared that December 5 of every year will continue to be marked as the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday with all important activities carried out as usual, Thai News Agency said.

thai-workersThe Cabinet also approved the increase of minimum wage by 5 to 10 baht for 69 provinces from January 1, 2017 but urged business operators to not increase prices of goods

The Cabinet also gave the go-ahead to add two more days to the New Year holidays with the four-day break stretching from December 31,  2016 till January 3, 2017, Thai News Agency added.
