PRIME Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has completed the new Cabinet lineup and confirmed that Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prawit Wongsuwan remains in his current position, Thai News Agency reported today (Nov. 17).
However while the Prime Minister said Agriculture Minister General Chatchai Sarikulya also continues remaining in the new Cabinet he would not say in what position.
General Prayut said while he has completed adjusting the new Cabinet lineup there however remains paperwork to be finished and also mentioned that he had arranged the list himself.
Asked by reporters whether he will concurrently take up the position of Defense Minister as reported in the media he said he does not have that yet.
When asked whether Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prawit holds the same position in the new Cabinet General Prayut said he stays in that position as does Interior Minister General Anupong Paochinda in his.
However while Prime Minister Prayut said General Chatchai remains in the new Cabinet he would not say in what position.
The Prime Minister also would not say whether there will be new ministers joining the new cabinet.
