PM Prayut makes impromptu visit to Ang Thong

PRIME Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha today (Oct. 30) made an impromptu visit to central Ang Thong province to survey the flood situation and help flood victims, INN News reported.

In making this unplanned trip with no one at the Government House informed beforehand, General Prayut and his team flew by a helicopter from the 2nd Calvary Division King’s Guard to survey two districts in this province.

Accompanying him were Interior Minister General Anupong Paojinda, Secretary-General for the Prime Minister General Wilart Arunsri, Interior Permanent Secretary Chatchai Promlert and officials from other related agencies.

His first stop was to be Wisetchaichan Tantiwittiyapoom School from where he was to travel by car to Bang Chak subdistrict of Wisetchaichan district to meet flood victims and give them supplies.

After that he was to meet and give supplies to another group of flood victims at a meeting room of Phongphen subdistrict administration organization in Pa Mok district before flying back to Bangkok.
