FORMER cabinet minister Suthep Thueksuban today (June 3, 2018) declared that he would join a new political party to contest the next general election, Sanook.com reported.
With him were former university rector Anek Laotammatat and former central bank governor M.R. Jatumongkol Sonakul.
Mr Anek said he was ready to lead the Ruam Palang Prachachart Thai Party if party members voted for him. “I will travel around the country in the next three months meeting people and explaining our party policy.”
Mr Anek was an advisor to the first Prayut Chan-o-cha government.
