Teen gang held for bashing up condo guards

A GANG of 13 teenagers attacked and badly injured a father and son who worked as guards at an inner city condominium after they told 3 of them who were noisily drinking at the basement to quieten down, Thai News Agency reported today (April 5).

Pol Col Nakhonrin Sukunthawith, deputy chief of Region 1 police, said the gang attack took place on Monday April 2 at a condominium in Huay Kwang district.

The 2 father and son guards got into an argument with 3 members of this teenage gang after scolding them for making a lot of noise while drinking in this condo’s basement which disturbed the other residents.

The 3 drunk and angry teenagers went and called their gang of friends, and armed with knives and baseball bats, they came back and severely beat up the 2 guards, but fortunately they are now out of danger.

The ringleader, a 19-year-old youth, and 4 four of his friends have been arrested , and 4 others have contacted police to give themselves up.

However, 5 others who are on the run are still being chased but police know who they are and also have other details about them.
