Water sprays help reduce tiny particles

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) yesterday (Feb 4, 2019) teamed up with the owner of Baiyok Sky Tower to spray water down from the 81st floor of the building to determine whether it could reduce PM 2.5 particles in the air, Siamrath reported.

The operation was successful, with a significant reduction in harmful particles.

Mr Teerayut Pumisak, head of the Rajathevi district, said more equipment will be installed around the busy areas of Bangkok to reduce PM 2.5 particles.
