3 attractions to visit this Valentine’s day.
Valentine’s day is coming up in less than 2 weeks. Mthai travel has gathered attractions to visit for this 2019 valentines. Each attraction is in a different province, choose the one closest to you for a romantic day to remember with your loved one.
- Under the Sea wedding – Trang province
The event takes place from 12 – 14 February of this year. Couples will be able to join in a tour to Trang’s most famous attractions and then join hands under the sea for a wedding unlike no other. There is an under the sea wedding stage organized by the local government to assist wedding couples with a proper marriage process, including a traditional Thai blessing where an official will give the couple good wishes for their future as a loving couple.
After each wedding, the couple will be able to join in on a Southern tradition which is a dining party with the main meal being chicken curry and sticky rice. This special dish is believed to help the couples stick together through life no matter the ups and downs.
- Valentine @Danchang – Suphan Buri province
This event is organized by the Suphan Buri province in cooperation with local villagers and big companies sponsoring the event. The event will take place on the 8 – 14 February of this year with many activities for visitors to experience from day to night.
There will be 3 main zones including, 1. Shopping zone, 2. Food zone, and 3. Entertainment zone. In the shopping zone, there will be big sales from OTOP sellers coming from locals in Suphan Buri and from other provinces in Thailand. Companies will be opening booths with items that are factory-priced for those who like a good deal. The food zone will be filled with delicious traditional Thai food to choose from, including Suphan Buri traditional food. Lastly, there will be a large playpark both for adults and children to enjoy and a big concert stage with famous Thai artists performing daily.
3.Singha Park International Balloon Fiesta – Chiang Rai province.
This international festival is coming back in 2019 with a promise to be “more fantastic than ever” from 13 – 17 February of this year. There will be over 30 fancy balloons displayed at the event coming in from all over the world. There will also be a balloon competition to find the most extravaganza balloon of this year.
Not only will the balloons bring excitement to any couple that visits, but there will also be food stands and concerts from famous Thai artists including a traditional Thai arts show at the festival. You will also get the chance to possibly be 1 of the 14 couples who will be getting married in the “Balloon Love” event taking place at the festival on a balloon up in the air.
