Thieves steal 100-kg safe in broad daylight
A GROUP of thieves broke into the house of a 50-year-old medical assistant in the northeastern Thai province of Khon Kaen this afternoon (April 4) and made off with a 100-kilo safe, the Thai-language Daily News reported.
Tanadon Intasee told police investigators that he locked his house and drove his wife to a nearby supermarket. The couple returned to see the front door open.
He ran into the house and found the safe missing. The thieves made off with four land title deeds, gold bars, necklaces and other personal items, worth around 400,000 baht.
