Man charged with killing pregnant wife
A 25-year-old man was arrested today (June 19) and charged with killing his 16-year-old pregnant wife, Sanook.com reported.
The man has been on the run for nearly a month. He contacted the police on Sunday and gave himself up in the northeastern Thai province of Amnart Charoen.
The suspect claimed that he had a big quarrel with his wife who wanted to leave him. He shoved her and she died after hitting her head on hardened ground.
The police had offered an 80,000 baht reward for his arrest.
