Blast smashes Bangkok Bank cash machine in Bangkok
AN explosion ripped open a Bangkok Bank ATM machine in front of a Tesco Lotus Express outlet in Krungthep Kreetha soi 35 at 4.45 am this morning, Thai News Agency said today (Sept. 13)
A guard at the scene of the explosion said he rushed to have a look after hearing the sound of a blast and saw a man wearing a black long-sleeve shirt speeding off through Krunngthep Kreetha Road on an automatic motorcycle.
Forensics and bomb disposal experts are checking the explosion while officials said the motive of the blast is theft.
