The Thai Meteorological Department has reported on the 17th of this month on the weather forecast of the 17th to the 23rd of this month. The Upper part of Thailand will be hot to extremely hot from the 18th to the 21st. In some areas there is possibility of rain and heavy winds. As for the 22nd to the 23rd, The North East of Thailand and the East of Thailand is expected to have some rain coming through their way.

The TMD warns the people to take precautions when in the upper part of Thailand, Try to stay out of the direct sun for as much as you can within the upcoming week.
Lampang has been the champion for the hottest province in the country for over a week now. The average temperature in Lampang is burning in at 43 Celsius. At this level of heat, people of Lampang are strongly advised to avoid the direct sun, wear sunscreen when possible to protect from heat damage and to stay hydrated. Direct sun exposure can result in heat strokes that can be life-threatening.
The hottest provinces are mostly provinces up in the North of Thailand. The 2nd place comes to Mae Hong Son and Tak with an average temperature of 42 Celsius. Chiangmai, Nan, Loei, Nakhon Sawan, and Kanjanaburi comes in at 3rd place with an average temperature of 41 Celsius. The 4th place goes to Phetchabun, Khon Kaen, and Nakhon Ratchasima with an average of 40 Celsius.
For those living in Central Thailand, the lowest temperature will be at 24 to 29 Celsius and The highest temperature will be at 37 to 42 Celsius.
For those who are living in Bangkok and the outskirts of the city, the lowest temperature will be at 26 to 29 Celsius and the highest temperature will be at 35 to 39 Celsius.
