Something you cannot hide
WITH five methamphetamine pills concealed in her bra, a 26-year-old woman was confident that a trip with her husband from the northern Thai province of Chiang Mai to Nakhon Pathom, on the outskirts of Bangkok, would be trouble-free.
She had earlier taken one meth pill and was in a very good mood. But her husband, who drove the truck, panicked when highway policemen made a normal inspection at the first toll gate, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported today (August 21, 2018).
Sensing something fishy, the officers interrogated the couple, who confessed to having five meth pills in their possession.
According to Khao Sod, it is not unusual for some long-haul truck drivers to take meth pills to keep themselves awake on the journey.
