Bridgestone Supports Tires and Automotive Services for the Princess Mother’s Medical Volunteer Foundation

Mr. Akihito Ishii, Managing Director, Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., and Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as the representative to provide the support of Bridgestone tires for DURAVIS, TURANZA, ECOPIA, DUELER, and MIGHTY-RIB models with the total of value at 521,760 baht, including mobility services and maintenances for 26 vehicles at COCKPIT Ratchathewi to the Princess Mother’s Medical Volunteer Foundation (PMMV) in order to strengthen the mission of the volunteer medical teams in terms of medical and public health services, as well as enhancing a safe and sustainable mobility society in Thailand, aligned with Bridgestone’s global commitment in fostering road safety worldwide.
The handover ceremony was honored by Yooth Bodharamik, M.D., Secretary General of The Princess Mother’s Medical Volunteer Foundation (PMMV), to receive the support at the PMMV office in Bangkok.

Bridgestone also provided automotive services and maintenance at COCKPIT Ratchathewi to PMMV, enhancing a safe and sustainable mobility society in Thailand

The sponsorship underlines the strong collaboration between Bridgestone as a private sector, and PMMV as a non-profit sector to sustainably enhance the well-beings of Thai people through the mission of the PMMV, particularly on safe travel to provide medical and public health services to people living in remote and rural areas for assessing medical and public health services. The Princess Mother’s Medical Volunteer Foundation (PMMV) is a mobile medical unit established in 1969 by Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother of King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. It consists of dedicated doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, and public health staff who volunteer to provide medical and public health services to people in remote and rural areas to ensure the accessibility to medical and public health services, while improving health in communities.
