Epicurean Culinary Journey at Up & Above Restaurant, The Okura Prestige Bangkok

Gourmands are invited to join us at The Okura Prestige Bangkok on Saturday, 17th November 2018 for what will be an epicurean journey of gastronomic delights. The six-course Odyssey Winemaker’s dinner, hosted in conjunction with one of New Zealand’s most recognised vineyards, starts at Up & Above terrace with signature canapés accompanied by Odyssey’s Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé. Following the reception, guests will be invited to move to Up & Above Restaurant for a dinner that comprises crab meat and passion fruit emulsion with avocado and mascarpone enjoyed with 2016 Odyssey Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc; Arroz negro black rice with carabinero shrimps and aioli paired with 2016 Odyssey Marlborough Pinot Gris; Raviolini, mushrooms and lemongrass with parmigiano and hazelnut served with 2017 Odyssey Reserve Lliad Gisborne Chardonnay; a fish course of skate wing with pinenut meuniere, tofu cream and spinach accompanied by a 2015 Odyssey Marlborough Pinot Noir; a meat course of Iberico lamb, potato galette, pureed peas and thyme jus washed down with 2014 Odyssey Reserve Lliad Marlborough Pinot Noir; and finally a dessert of yuzu and lemon meringue with yoghurt verbena sorbet. Premium illy coffee and Mariage Frères teas round off a magnificent evening of fine food and wine.

 

 The 6-course Odyssey Winemaker’s Dinner takes place on 17 November 2018 from 6:30 p.m. at Up & Above Restaurant priced at Baht 2,900 net per person. Early Bird bookings made by 10 November 2018, special price offer at Baht 2,500 net per person.
