New Chinese chef at Banyan Tree Bangkok’s Bai Yun restaurant
BANYAN Tree Bangkok announced the appointment of Mr Minghua Lin as the new Chinese Chef for Bai Yun restaurant.
Known by his nom de toque blanch, Chef Tom brings with him 18 years’ experience preparing Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine. The recipient of two awards from prestigious Chinese culinary bodies, he worked extensively in his homeland, including stints as Chinese Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu; Chinese Sous Chef at Intercontinental Century City Chengdu; and Chef De Partie at Four Points By Sheraton Beijing.
His career arc then traced internationally to Qatar, where he served as Chinese Chef at the Shangri-La Hotel Doha and, prior to joining Banyan Tree Bangkok, at Sofitel Hotel Macau.
