Saffron unveils newly revamped look at Banyan Tree Bangkok
Banyan Tree Bangkok’s authentic Signature Thai restaurant Saffron celebrates its stunning makeover with deliciously priced set-menu lunch specials.
Banyan Tree Bangkok announced the grand re-opening of its much-acclaimed Thai eatery Saffron, following an extensive renovation that has given the restaurant a brand new aesthetic character that acknowledges its Asian heritage expressed in contemporary elegance.
Décor upgrades make use of warm woods, fine Thai silk and Copper Lotus Flower walls that bring an earth-friendly element of style and tranquility, while new features include a view-deck at the 51-story-high Saffron Sky Garden, with its mesmerizing city vistas, plus a new open-kitchen layout that showcases the skill and artistry of the restaurant’s talented culinary team headed by celebrated Thai Master Chef Renu Homsombat.
Also part of the new image are enhanced business hours: Saffron is now open for lunch every day, with a selection of exciting new set-menu options starting at just 550++ baht. There are three, four-course sets to choose from with highlight dishes like Pomelo Salad with Soft Shell Crab, Grilled Sea Bass Green Curry, and the classic spicy-sour shrimp and herb soup Tom Yum Goong. A vegetarian set and limited a la carte menu are also available.
Located on the 52nd floor of the Banyan Tree Bangkok Hotel, Saffron Thai restaurant is open daily for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for dinner from 6:00 to 10:30 p.m., with a private room available. For further information and reservations, please call 02 679-1200.
