Thai-Swedish girl rescued from foreign dad who molested her

UDON THANI police rescued a 16-year-old Thai-Swedish girl from her foreign father after he had molested her several times with her mother revealing that he had raped her from the age of 13 till got pregnant and gave birth to this girl, Naewna newspaper said this morning (May 15).

This northeastern province’s Deputy Governor Mr. Nattapol Witee took action after getting a request from Khru Tawan for Orphans that Ms. Nid (pseudonym), 29, had asked for help in rescuing her daughter Ann (pseudonym), 16, from her father’s neighbour’s house after she sent a message threatening to commit suicide as she had been molested by him many times and could not stand it anymore.

After police rescued her Nid took her to file a report at Udon Thani City police station then immediately took her to her home in Nong Wua So district.

Nid revealed that her unidentified husband, who is a womanizer and likes girls under 13 years of age, was jailed in Sweden for two years for raping her when she was just 13 years old.

“When I got pregnant, he did not accept that she was his daughter until a DNA test result proved that it was 99.99 percent certain she was his daughter, then he accepted her,” she said.

Nid said Ann lived with her father because she had to go to school in the city but she sent a message asking for help after her father took her to a hotel and tried to molest her, but she managed to run away, and he then arranged for her to live in their neighbour’s house. From there she sent her mother a message that if she did not come and rescue her, she would kill herself.

Ann revealed that her father had told her to ask her friend who is the same age as her to be his wife, offering to get her teeth straightened, and her friend’s teeth were then fixed.

“My father likes girls under 18 years old, and he is also strange, he used to bring LGBTQ girls to his room. He told me to stay with him, but I said no… I’d rather stay with my mother,” Ann said.

Upon hearing the news, Lawyer Nobi volunteered to help the mother and daughter by filing a lawsuit at the Juvenile and Family Court to revoke the father’s custody of the child.
