Wife kicks out husband for investing in The iCon Group

A GARBAGE collector who spent his life savings on investing in The iCon Group but did not get any returns and on top of that got booted out of the house by wife for doing so is now heartbroken and listens sermons to relieve his stress, Amarin TV said this evening (Oct. 15).

The damage caused by this direct sales company, which employed celebrities, stars and influencers to draw investors to buy its products for resale, is now widening with there being people in the provinces too having suffered losses and among them is Mr. Nikhom (surname withheld), 58, who works as a garbage collector in Buriram province.

He related that about a year ago he joined an online sales training course at The iCon Group and got interested in selling the company’s products and signed up for 2,500 baht investment.

He continued attending training until the team leader invited to increase his investment to almost 200,000 baht. At first he did not dare do so but upon being persuaded several times withdrew his savings and plunged in.

He was confident he would make it since there were celebrities involved in the company with one of them being Sam Yuranunt Pamornmontri whom he admired.

When his wife found out she kicked him out of the house and he has been living in another house since then,

Nikhom added that after receiving three out of 10 boxes of products he had invested in to resell, he could not sell anything at all because the prices were too high, so is consuming them himself with there being seven more boxes to collect from the company.

When he heard about the scandal surrounding the company he lost all hope of getting his capital back and now listens to sermons to relieve his stress.

He urged relevant agencies to help him get his money back because this is what he has to use when he retires and doing so might help him patch up with his wife.
