New High Covid-19 numbers with 15,355 new cases and 129 deaths.

There is a new high in Covid-19 numbers with 15,335 new cases today on 25 July 2021 with 129 deaths related to the virus. This is the 9th day where Thailand has had more than 10,000 new cases per day. The total number of cases since is 491,302 with 158,550 cases currently in medical care. The number of new cases has increased from yesterday (24 July 2021) by 1,075 cases. Good news is 6,904 cases have made a full recovery and are allowed to return home bringing the number of fully recovered patients to 334,693 cases.

Bangkok remains the city with the highest number of new cases followed by Samut Sakhon Province. So far there have been 15,869,844 vaccine doses given in the country. The Centre for Covid-19 situation Administration (CCSA) reported Thailand is currently the 47th country with the highest Covid-19 numbers. Out of the total number of 15,335 new cases, 14,675 were infected from inside the country. 19 were infected while abroad and 641 were infected while in prison. The total number of patients receiving medical care is 158,550. Out of the number 91,049 are receiving medical care in hospitals and 67,501 are in field hospitals. 4,151 patients are in critical condition with ventilators. There is an increase of 129 deaths related to the virus with a total number of deaths currently at 4,059, this is 0.82% of total cases. 

 

 

Up to date there have been 15,869,844 doses of vaccines given. Out of the number 12,226,845 have received their first dose and 3,642,999 have received their second dose. From the total of new cases today 6,069 cases are from Bangkok and outskirt provinces. 805 cases are from the 4 Southern Border Provinces. 7,801 are from the remaining provinces and 641 received the virus while in prison. Out of the129 deaths related to Covid-19, 70 are male and 59 are female. The ages range from 28-94 with an average of 66 years old. 124 are Thai , 3 are Burmese, 1 Chinese, and 1 Japanese. 66 died in Bangkok with most cases having high risk diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney disease, and more.
