The provincial governments in 3 provinces have established new rules against Covid-19, these provinces are Samut Prakan, Mae Hong Son, and Nonthaburi. Chatchai Uthaipan the governor of Samut Prakan signed his name on new orders on the current Coronavirua situation to date ( 31 March 2020). All convenient stores will be closed from 23.00-05.00, customers must be at least 1 meter in distance between each other, this includes while in a queue at the cashier counter. Hand Sanitizers must be available at all times. The employees and all customers must wear masks at all times while inside the store. Markets in the province must also have hand sanitizers available. Sellers and customers must be wearing masks at all times. Locals are asked to wear a mask whenever they leave their homes.
Sujit Chaikumsak the governor of Nonthaburi has asked the people to follow new rules as a safety measure against Covid-19. The main message is to limit the spread as much as possible as if there are too many cases the hospitals might not be able to keep up. The province has imposed a curfew and the people are asked to remain inside their homes between 23.00-05.00. Those who need to go outside during these times must be expected including delivery drivers, those who require to work, or emergency cases. This curfew will start on 31 March 2020 until published otherwise.
On the same day, Suwapong Kitipatpibul, the governor of Mae Hong Son Province, announced a curfew to limit the spread of Covid-19. The people are asked to stay inside their homes during 22.00-04.00 of the next day. Only emergency cases will be allowed to leave during these times. Foreigners will not be allowed into Mae Hong Son. Anyone traveling into the province from Bangkok or provinces with Covid-19 cases must present themselves at their village health volunteer and remain in self-quarantine for 14 days.
The people are also asked not to travel into or out of Mae Hong Son Province during from 22.00-04.00 Those that need to leave or enter during this time must be expected including those in the medical field, public workers required to clean public areas, delivery drivers, Thailand Post employees, emergency rescue teams, government vehicles, and those allowed signed by a government official.
