BMA surveys sale of New Year hampers
BANGKOK Metropolitan Authority Deputy Governor Thaweesak Lertprapan together with a team of officials went to various shopping malls in the center of the city to check the sale of New Year hampers for 2017.
They stressed that all parties, both state agencies and the private sector, should keep in mind the guidelines on selling these New Year hampers and should focus on safety and hygiene.
Meanwhile British newspaper The Mirror recently highlighted the best Christmas tech gifts this year which if not already available here in Bangkok would probably soon be or could be ordered online. Among them are the following:
- Sony headphones
Sony’s colorful MDR-100ABN h.ear on wireless headphones combine high-resolution audio with a bold and distinctive design. They also feature digital noise cancelling to block out background noise. They are available in five colors.
- iPad Pro
Apple’s iPads are always high up on the lust list. This year’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro is as thin as an iPhone and has an A9X chip, providing performance that rivals many laptops and console-class graphics. The iPad Pro comes in silver, gold, space grey and rose gold, and can be purchased directly from Apple’s online store.
- Tefal Toast ‘n’ Egg
The Tefal Toast ‘n’ Egg revolutionizes breakfast time by combining a toaster and egg cooker in one. As well as two wide slots for toasting, it has a steamer tray for boiling and a poaching tray to poach (and cook baked beans).
- Amazon Fire HD 8
The Amazon Fire HD 8 isn’t Amazon’s cheapest tablet, but it’s much better looking than the standard Fire tablet and boasts superb build quality and long-lasting battery life. Its available in a range of bright colors from Amazon website.
- The Samsung Gear S3 smart watch
Samsung’s latest smart watch is arguably the best on the market, combining a classic design with IP68 water resistance and built-in GPS. It is available in two designs – frontier for a rugged look and classic which is more minimalist.
