Have fun camping in Khao Yai

MANY people would like to drive from their home to various tourist destinations and camp there but acquiring a motorhome is not something easy to do.

Sanook! Travel’s columnist Peeranut P. offers readers a better choice and that is to rent a motorhome at Casa De Montana resort’s camp within Khao Yai national park, which a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is spread across 4 provinces, Saraburi, Nakhon Nayok and Prachinburi in the central region and Nakhon Ratchasima in the northeast.

While there are 6 motorhomes available to rent, if you want the best view then opt for number 2, as this opens to a really great view at the rear.

Although the motorhome looks small from the outside, once within guests are surprised that it actually has all the amenities, including a bathroom, storage cabinets, sofa and a king-size bed.

The special thing about the bed is you can slide the glass and look out to take in the view of the mountains, and this is really why number 2 motorhome is the best pick.

The day the writer visited, the weather was quite cool with the temperature being 17-18 degrees Celsius because it had rained heavily the night before, and together with staying at a camp site doubled the joy of the trip.

Of course not to be left out on a trip here is a camera, as there are lots of scenic spots for photographs, be it around the campfire, or the view from the motorhome.

Being surrounded by the mountains amid the cool air and staying in a beautiful place is more than enough happiness for a 2-day and 1-night trip.
