Thai students yesterday (Jan 7, 2020) won first prize in the 12th International Collegiate Snow Sculpture Contest 2020, which began on Jan 4 in Harbin, China.
The winning sculpture was entitled “Longstanding Love.”
The sculpture was created by a four-member team from Trat Vocational College in the coastal Thai province of Trat. It depicts a dragon, a swan and a lotus to describe the 70-year-long relations between Thailand and China.
The swan depicts Thailand, and the dragon is a symbol of China.
