POLICE found 140,000 amphetamine pills in a suspicious blue bag which a young man who is a dealer in used goods found on the roadside and handed over to them, INN News reported today (Nov. 8)
At 10.15 pm last night a policeman and 4 volunteers working in front of a 7-Eleven shop at Chao Phor Sua intersection in Bang Khen district found and seized 14 packages of amphetamine pills, tied in 5 bundles, totaling 140,000 pills within the blue bag which the young man whose name and surname is not known drove up on a motorcycle and gave to them.
The young man, whose is a dealer in used goods, said he saw a golden bronze Toyota pickup truck throwing the bag in Ramintra soi 5 area but he did not notice the license plate number.
He added that he brought it to the police because it looked suspicious but immediately drove away without giving his name after doing so.
Police called forensic officers to check the bag and the investigators at Bang Khen police station are following up the case.
