This is the result of a police chase on the Ban Wat-None Dang road in None Dang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province during the night of 13 January 2020. Police from Amnat Charoen Province tracked down two suspects driving a truck. Officials received information about a truck bringing in Yaba and crystal meth from the border heading to Kalasin Province. The truck did not stop and started shooting at the police. A gunfight started resulting in the suspect’s truck stuck by the road. Police arrested both suspects before searching the vehicle revealing the drugs inside. The suspects admitted that they were paid 100,000 THB to move the drugs from Nakhon Phanom to a customer in Bangkok. Officials believe there is a big drug gang connected to where the drugs came from.
