Another wildfire spot was found yesterday (March 31, 2021) in Kong Saknoi Village of Samerng Sub-district in the northern Thai province of Chiang Mai.
Samerng officials have asked Chiang Mai provincial authority to send helicopters to put out the fire as soon as possible.
Smoke from the wildfire has already affected the health of local residents, particularly those who live in large communities, school students and hospitals.
The measurement of PM-2.5 particles at Sipoom Sub-district in Chiang Mai Province this morning is 101 microgram per cubic meter.
