The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will set up a local COVID-19 quarantine center to screen people returning to Thailand from foreign countries. The center can accommodate 700 people, sanook.com reported yesterday (April 5, 2020).
The center is responsible for health services, screening people with high fever and register people on quarantine. Local officials are on hand to secure safety, provide clean accommodation, food and necessities, and fire prevention around the clock.
The BMA already has a system in place to ensure sanitation for the people on quarantine. There are emergency vehicles to take patients to hospitals certified by the World Health Organization (WHO).
