Cabbie returns cash left by passenger
A 19-year-old Kuwaiti student this morning (July 24, 2018) thanked a Thai taxi driver in the tourist resort of Pattaya who retrieved a folder he left on the backseat of his car last night, Sanook.com reported.
Mr Paen Jitrabieb, 39, said he saw the folder while cleaning his car and took it to the Pattaya Police Station. Inside it were 53,000 baht in cash and some documents.
The student, identified by Sanook.com as Kwtalazmi Rashed, praised Mr Paen for his honesty. “This is a memorable experience and I will tell my family and friends about it.”
