A 13-year-old girl from the central Thai province of Chachoengsao was saved by a taxi driver after running away from a karaoke bar in the Lardprao area of Bangkok early this morning (Sept. 25), Sanook.com reported.
The cabbie was waiting for customers when the girl ran out of the bar crying and screaming for help. He grabbed the girl, put her in his car and sped off to Lardprao Police Station, where she was comforted by female officers.
The girl told the officers that she was persuaded by a group of women to work in the bar. She went with them without telling her parents.
